Each run must consist of 12 splits, going through each level once.
Run starts at the selection of the first map.
A level is finished, when:
the points bar filled up at least once.
the player is on the hangar field, outside of a helicopter.
Run ends after finishing the last level.
No cheat codes allowed.
The game must be locked to 60 FPS.
If the SimCopterX patcher is used, set the sleep timer to 16ms to achieve this.
Run timer can be paused, when the game is paused or closed.
Important, for when the game starts lagging after a while and needs a restart to be running smoothly again.
In case of an unintentional game crash, the current map can be restarted with the last split time. You do this by following these steps:
Pause the split timer on the crash.
Write down the helicopter, upgrades, money and map number at the time of the last split(check your recording).
Use the "I'm the CEO of McDonnell Douglas" and "Give me bucks or give me death: #" cheat (open with "Ctrl + Alt + X") to give yourself the exact same equipment and money back.
Use the "Warp me to career: #" cheat to get to the last finished map.
Subtract your stopped timer with the last split time to get the time you spend of the crashed map. Set up a separate countdown timer with the result.
Use the "Been there, done that." cheat to instantly finish that map and start the countdown timer.
Play normally, until the countdown timer reaches 0, then unpause the split timer.

Finish ALL missions before leaving a map.
Glitched/bugged missions can be skipped.
Don't injure or kill Sims.
Inludes the megaphone greeting (F10) to create MEDEVAC missions.
Includes use of tear gas, except against rioters and criminals.
Excludes criminals.
Excludes cases, in which nearby Sims randomly get injured for no reason.
Excludes cases, in which Sims dropped out of a grounded helicopter "fall" to the ground.
Level 10-12 only: Shoot down the UFO with the Apache.
If the crashing UFO causes additional missions, finish them as well.
Additionally, the speedrun also fails, if you:
destroy a helicopter.
shoot down a plane.
overturn or sink a boat.
crash a civilian car. (excl. speeders and criminals)
